It's a Jungle out There!



An animal print vase, binoculars, & a safari hat serve as the centerpiece for this big game hunter's table of mostly amber and black.



A handful of tropical undergrowth from the rain forest floor fill the vase, shooting out across the table center.


The backside of the centerpiece shows the animal skin vase a bit better.

The pointed napkin fold is inserted inside a napkin ring and then placed in the dessert dish for added height.

The party favor sits atop the plate--it's filled with chocolate wrapped candies for each guest to take home.


A few fresh flowers sit to the side in amber-colored vases.

A black-stemmed champagne flute holds the refreshing orange liquid. "What is that colorful cocktail?" you ask.

It is not alcoholic at all. In fact it's very nutritious and delicious. It's

It was the perfect color for this table. What entree would you serve at a safari table?


How about wild roasted boar? At least that was my entree.


O.K. so it was roast loin of pork -- close enough. :)

Roasted boar, roasted pork - pot-a-to, po-tah-to. I'm looking for the wild tiger to jump out. Very creative.

I loved the post you did about how and where you store all of your dishes...Girl, you are the "Queen" of dishware!!! Hehe!!! You really have some fabulous storage cabinets though...lucky you!
